UPDATE – 17 May 2022

We have good stock of Oscillot cat fence components for immediate shipment, except for Woodland Grey paddles which will soon be out of stock until further notice.

The current waiting time for a cat climbing post (the time from payment to shipping or collection) is continuously updated on our cat climbing posts page.

UPDATE – 25 January 2022 (Alert Level Red in NZ)

We are operating normally, observing COVID-19 rules.

Oscillot cat fence products are in stock, thanks to a shipment just arrived from Australia. We also have a new colour, Monument Grey, which is darker than Woodland Grey, which we have sold for many years.

Cat climbing posts are being built as quickly as possible, with a waiting time of around four weeks.

We are shipping normally throughout NZ, but handling local deliveries ourselves to avoid courier congestion.

UPDATE – 18 December 2021 (Alert Level Orange in Auckland)

We are on track to complete all climbing post orders received before 22 November in time for Christmas. The waiting time for cat post orders received after 22 November is approximately six weeks. We will be working through the Christmas holiday period to get orders completed as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Oscillot cat fencing products are being supplied as usual, although deliveries outside Auckland may take longer than usual.

UPDATE – 20 November 2021 (Alert Level 3.2 in Auckland)

We have a large backlog of orders for cat climbing posts. Although we are building them as fast as possible, orders received after 22 November may not be completed before Christmas.

UPDATE – 12 November 2021 (Alert Level 3.2 in Auckland)

We are back to “normal”. Carpet dealers have re-opened so we are building cat posts again.

All Oscillot products are in stock.

Shipping continues to be slow and, with Christmas coming, is expected to get even slower. So please don’t delay placing your order!

UPDATE – 21 October 2021 (Alert Level 3.1 in Auckland)

We are able to prepare and and ship orders at all alert levels.

Oscillot cat fence: We have good stock of all Oscillot kits in black, grey and merino colours.

Cat climbing posts: We have enough material on hand to build two more Basic model posts only. One can be all-beige and the other a combination of grey and beige. If you would like one, please order quickly. We cannot build any more posts until suppliers re-open.

Delivery: We are shipping, but couriers are overloaded, and deliveries are often slow, particularly for customers outside Auckland. We suggest that you order as soon as you have worked out your requirements to allow as much time as possible for delivery.

Contactless collection: Under Alert Level 3 or lower, we can offer contactless pickup from Seacliffe Road in Hillsborough/Onehunga. We will place your order in a secure place and send you instructions. Please scan the Covid Tracer QR code at the pickup spot.

UPDATE – 25 September 2021

Although couriers and trucking companies operate in all alert levels, delivery times are unpredictable. In some cases, there have been no delays at all, at other times deliveries have taken an extra week or more. Please place your order as early as you can to avoid disappointment.

UPDATE – 24 September 2021

Black Oscillot paddles are in stock again, so we can supply all Oscillot kits.

UPDATE – 22 September 2021

The Auckland region moved into Alert Level 3 at 11:59pm on Tuesday 21 September 2021.

With this (slight) easing of restrictions, we are again able to offer contactless pickup of Oscillot components and cat climbing posts from our base in Hillsborough, Auckland.

Climbing Posts

We are out of stock on materials for climbing posts, and are unlikely to get new supplies during Level 3. You are welcome to place an order, but we are not able to give a delivery date at this stage.

Oscillot cat fencing

We can supply any materials except black paddles. Although the black paddles have arrived in Auckland, they probably cannot be delivered to us until Level 2 or lower.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

UPDATE – 29 August 2021

As you know, Auckland is currently under Covid-19 Alert Level 4 restrictions.

This doesn’t really affect our customers very much, as most of our products (either Oscillot cat fence systems, or our line of cat climbing posts) are ordered through our website and shipped to the customer.

  • Couriers and trucking companies are operating during Level 4, with contactless pickup and delivery.
  • Customers cannot visit our premises, however.

This is a great time to explore our online store and you can take advantage of credit card payment if you wish. We have good stock of all Oscillot components.

We are still building cat climbing posts to order, but any orders placed after 5pm 29 August 2021 are subject to delay, as we have run very low on carpet. We may not be able to complete the building of your post until after Auckland is out of Level 4. Please contact us if you have questions.

If you’re not sure what to order, we can advise you by phone or email.

Please contact us if you have any questions. Stay safe, and keep scanning those QR codes.

UPDATE – 21 February 2021

As you know, Auckland has returned to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 until at least 6 March.

This doesn’t really affect our customers very much, as most of our products (either Oscillot cat fence systems, or our line of cat climbing posts) are shipped to the customer.

  • Couriers and trucking companies are operating during Level 3, with contactless pickup and delivery.
  • Customers can also collect their purchases from us in Auckland after buying online. We will coordinate a pickup time and have the product waiting for contactless pickup.

This is a great time to explore our online store and you can take advantage of credit card payment if you wish. We have good stock of all Oscillot components, and we are still building cat climbing posts to order.

If you’re not sure what to order, or would like a quote for Oscillot installation (in Auckland only), we can advise you by phone or email.

Please contact us if you have any questions. Stay safe, and keep scanning those QR codes.
