Brackets enable the Oscillot system to be positioned farther away from the fence, increasing the deterrent effect.

If you have a timber fence (which cats can easily climb) and a very agile cat, we recommend using these brackets to position the Oscillot system a little farther away from the fence.

You would ordinarily order one bracket for each of your Oscillot dual knuckle posts.

Brackets can also be useful in other situations where a bit of offset is required. The angle can be adjusted if necessary to suit your situation.

Brackets are black powdercoated steel and can be cut at the bend to make "extenders" which can be useful in various situations (see the photos for an example).

Each bracket comes with two self-tapping screws for attaching the Oscillot post, and three 25mm wood screws for attaching the bracket to a timber fence.

A post connects two Oscillot paddles to each other, and is also needed at the end of each straight-line run of fencing.

Our DIY Oscillot kits include posts, so why might you need more?

• Two posts are required at each corner of your yard, so if you have lots of corners you may need extra posts.
• If you are attaching Oscillot to a gate, you will need at least two posts on the gate, and possibly an extra post on each side of the gate, depending on how your paddle cutting works out.

Each post comes with two axles, two swivel balls, two mounting screws and one cap locking screw. Because some posts will only be supporting one paddle, you will have a few axle pins and swivel balls left over - handy in case you drop some in the garden!
