You can help feed their natural instinct and keep them endlessly entertained with the Purrfect Perch outdoor cat post. It makes an ideal addition to your outdoor cat fence enclosure or catio.

Size

The Purrfect Perch outdoor cat post features a top platform (45 x 28 cm) plus five steps (30 x 14 cm).

The height is adjustable, depending on whether you use one, two or all three sections of pole.

Heights when using in-ground sleeve:
approximately 0.88, 1.24, 1.90 or 2.26 metres

Heights when using optional base-pad (sold separately):
approximately 1.18, 1.54, 2.20 or 2.56 metres

Features

Designed with your cat's safety and pleasure in mind, this cat climbing post is made from powder-coated galvanised steel with Western Red Cedar platforms. The timber is durable, stable, and lightweight.

The Purrfect Perch gives your cat many lounging options, plus a great view from the top. You can customise the height of the platforms (and even change the total height), which makes it easy to create a cat stairway from a window to the ground.

Installation is easy, and there are two options:

1. Install it in your yard: Use a sledgehammer to drive the supplied ground sleeve into the soil, then insert the bottom of the cat post into the ground sleeve, or

2. Install it on a deck or other horizontal surface: Screw the optional base pad to the surface (screws not supplied), then insert the bottom of the cat post into the base pad and secure it with the screw provided. (Base pad sold separately.)

Solidly built in New Zealand, the Maxi-3 Plus is the ultimate climbing post for really big cats. It is identical to the Maxi-3 post, except for a third section of rope covering 250mm of the lowest section of the pole.

Platforms are 18mm thick for extra stiffness under heavy loads
The pole is buttressed to reduce swaying when a big cat jumps onto the post
The centre of gravity is very low for maximum stability.

Our cat climbing posts may not be the prettiest scratching posts but they are built BIG (so your cat can stretch while scratching) and STRONG (they take the abuse so that your furniture doesn’t). We don’t use cardboard or cheap fabric coverings which your cat can shred in a few months. Bases are painted (so they cannot absorb liquid) before being carpeted.

Warranty

Our posts have a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and construction. After a few years of constant use, your climbing post may start to look a bit ragged, at which time we are happy to quote on replacing the carpet and manila rope. Our 12-week-old Toyger kitten loves his new cat post. It was a bit scary at first, especially getting down, but he now races up to the first platform and down again confidently. It’s great for tiring him out and keeping his needle sharp kitten claws in check! 🙂

He hasn’t explored the top platform yet, I think it’s a little high for him at the moment. But at the rate he’s growing it’ll only be a few weeks before he’s mastered that one too!

The cat tree was very easy to put together and it’s beautifully made. Quality finishing and attention to detail. My boy Haki loves to hang out on the platforms and have a nap. To get him to enjoy using the tree he needed a little catnip encouragement and then we were away! He’s a 5 kg Turkish Angora and the tree is perfectly sturdy for his needs. The scratching part is also the right height for his long body. Very happy with the purchase!
