This is horrible and depraved, and I do hesitate to share it – but we have to be honest and admit there are some sick people out there – and roaming cats are easy victims for them.
In Hamilton, a roaming cat was shot between the eyes with a nail gun but – miraculously – survived and is in the care of the Waikato SPCA.
Even if you believe your cat is entitled to roam – that doesn’t guarantee that they can do so safely.
